Woohoo..my last event is finally over for the year! whheee!!spent my whole day @ hub todae cleaning up the mess(that only took up 1/4 of the time) came very' EARLY' at 11.40 cos i just could not get out of my comfortable bed! It was hard ok, i had 5 alarms ringing till i could fully wake up. lol, wat a pig.
When i reached hub, the excos were elready starting to clean up & yea, the whole hub looked very very messy. We took like an hour to fold back all the curtains & tinsels & then had a 'bonding' session @ admin room, gossiping abt everything under the sun :D then we had an impromptu movie marathon!!! :D so funn!! i love youthhub & my darling excos!
Anyway, i shall blog abt yesterday's event! We has a Campteen Xmas Party @ JSSC yesterday & it went alrite! :D everyone dressed so smartly & sexy it looked liked a very classic dinner :) hehe.. i shall start blogging from the preparation onwards.
Jasmine & Mariam slept over @ my hse!Soo fun!! Had a gossip session & catching up with each other while we burned cds for the campteeners. slept only at 2plus.. that ended up in us coming late to hub to prepare the deco items. It wasn't my fault ok! I woke up @ 8.45. the other two lazy piggs were still snoring away @ 9.20 can! N there i was nagging @ them to wake up! Wanted to cab down to jssc but after 20min of flagging, we couldnt find a cab! SO we took a bus & changed to train & came 28min late! Opps. Lucky Joshua was nice & sweet about it. (he didnt have much choices, cos the rest were later than us.hahaX) )
12.pm Started decorating the hub with our custom-made curtains done by cte tailors. ahha.. the curtains rock manN!Yours truly was the irrtating,particular lady boss, making sure the curtains went according to her liking. opps. We had a 'fun' time straining & working on our shoulder muscles to put up all deco. balls/starts/bells up the ceiling. Know i know how it feels to be tall! YAY! Had a lunch break of 1hr n then continued with our deco. :) then, after tt, we still had time to watch Dark Waters in the hub to scare the shit out of ourselves before D&D -_-" Me & Hana didnt watch the movie though, we played cards instead:) My card game was interrupted cos i had to do a dance prac cos our dear GOH -_-" mr weng came late. ahha, had 3-4 dry runstill until 4.50pm before rushing up to change & dress up cos the crowd was starting to arrive.
D&D The food that was laid out looked rather tempting & we had to refrain ourselves from stealing the food cos we were really really hungry. I swear we were starving cos shuib asked me if we can eat the food like 3-4 times? & thats a real record. LOL. The event went out pretty alrite & the pageant went well! Ahha, we also had the exco to do who's line is it anyway thanks to both joshua & jasimah our two beloed emcees! BEESH! Then we did our performance to sexyback & lose control'. haha, it went pretty alrite i guess :) nth like major screw ups or anythg like tt. :) ahha,other other weng stepping on my foot.lol, thats like nth compared to the worse case scenarios like "what if my heels got stuck between the stage partition?" or if my tube dress is reliable enough. lol. Then we had a mini dance session where everyone is allowed to dance. I didnt go nuts like prom cos i was too tired from running frmo place to place with my high heels. (Yes, i've mastered the skills of running in heels! Cool eh? All my 8 years in tracks i didnt get to master it until now;))
Went to macs after tt to join the campteeners to chill out..didn't exactly sit with the campteeners cos we were too large a grroup for macs to accomodate. sat with mariam,syirr,kapan,rasul & jasmine. Rasul made me jealous & rubbed it into my face tt he went for the workshop by Ryan from So You Think You Can Dance. Darn, if only i had savings i'd have joined him for it! tsk.
that's about it. its a bit too long n draggy if i describe everything that happened in detail. im just waiting for salihin to finish uploading the pics from D&D so that i can load them up here! :D
