I'm finally updating this little blog.. It's just past 12am in the early wee hours & im still online. Got to catch some sleep but work is preventing me from doing so. Urgh, my fault. Procrastinate & this is what you get. So many things has happened since i blogged. Let me just list them down:-
International Friendship day
Guess what? I was the Emcee of the show. *yayness* (sarcasm pls) I embarrassed myself in front of the whole school *again* Ok, what is new? I can soo make a book of records of the times I've embarrassed myself in front of the whole world. Oh! I'm so pro, I got the script 2 hrs before the event itself . *Clap hands* I only got to know about my being the emcee on thurs, 1 day before the thing. Ok, I shant blame anyone but the management who organised this. *ahem* but heck, i stumbled my words ard a lil but i didnt say "ermm.." YAY! heck abt this, it already happened & damage has bee done. lol. my reputation has been tarnished! "like i even have one.."
Nationals X-country Championships
National X-cty was an event much awaited for. The Sprinters were mainly excited cos we couldn't wait to see our darling x-cty runners run after the months of training. Sec 4 sprinters went to macs(unhealthy,opps) before going back to school for the bus. The bus trip was a hectic scene cos we all had a deal with each other to braid our hair. -.-" ok, it was understandable that we had wacky ideas cos we were so excited. But stupidly, only cheryl & I know how to braid their hair. lol, so we were like working our hands real hard to do the braidings for soo many people.
The scene at Turf City was no better, it was soo crowded with people & the different schools. Saw many ppl i know there*what a small world* anyway, our school unconsciously landed ourselves in between hci & vs territory -.-" how NICE. and we didnt even realise it until this guy came up to us & say.then me & jenn were negotiating with him that we only consist of a small group of ppl (which is quite true) and we managed to talk him round. Maybe also because he felt intimidated cos it was 1 vs 2.ahha, everything went well till vs was concerned tt we'll take so much of space.(maybe also they thought that we'll bring the whole school down or sth) we still got our space. yayness & the races started! It was super exciting cos it's been a while since we actually cheered as a track & field team. cept that the seniors were a lil pissed with the juniors abt cheering *urghh*
Anyway, c div did well & b div did do their best. We're still proud of them for their hardwork in preparation for the race. :) Next stop is nat schools track & field which is in July. I'm sadd, it's my last year in cedar & i'll definitely miss all the times spent with the trackers. oh mann, sometimes i hate growing up. :x
